Zinia Picazo

Zinia Picazo was born in Scotland and raised in the southwest of England, and earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Bristol. Zinia went on to become a Chartered Accountant, working in the tax departments of Deloitte and KPMG in London. After moving to New York in 2003, Zinia worked for Deutsche Bank’s global tax department leading the projection and analysis of the bank’s comprehensive effective tax rate. After moving to San Francisco, Zinia actively participated with her sons’ schools making the most of her work experience in finance. Zinia was the finance chair for the Cathedral School for Boys Parents Association and fundraising chair for the Sherman Elementary PTA. She and her husband, René, live in San Francisco with their three sons, including Alexander, who is in Middle School A at Helix. When not volunteering, Zinia enjoys hiking, yoga, skiing the gentler slopes and traveling again after the pandemic.
