Ron Smith

Dr. Ron C. Smith is an Oakland, California native with over 25 years of experience in the education, leadership, and youth development space. In his role at Salesforce, Ron has overseen more than $225M in investments, strengthened and built partnerships with school districts, leads the alignment of the education and workforce portfolio across the US and Europe, while leading the Philanthropic Giving team for the Salesforce Foundation. Ron is a lifelong educator with equity as a driving force and a desire to improve the lives and career opportunities for youth and young adults. Guiding his work is the belief that to improve outcomes for those furthest from success we must address all aspects of the world they live in. This includes supporting them to understand where they can have a meaningful impact on their community and helping them build the bridges for those who will follow.
