Learning Independence Together (LIT) is our mantra, vision for the future, and the central focus of our relationships in our Transition Program. We are all about trying new and potentially difficult experiences and doing, doing, doing. This mantra is achieved through our internships, vocational coaching and ongoing functional life and educational programming with an emphasis on building quality relationships in the community. All of this is made possible by creating safe environments for trying and doing and fostering relationships with each student that is trusting, kind, caring and exciting. This allows the LIT staff to push and support each LIT student to their greatest independent selves, exposing them to the limitless possibilities that life has to offer.
