High School A classroom has solid academics mixed with functional life skills and creativity. Our classroom participates in the larger Helix community throughout the week during social clubs, the yearbook club, art, performance art and recess. Academically, we match each student’s current levels to support them in progressing at their individual speed in every subject. We are sure to infuse plenty of creativity and movement each day mixed in with core academics, including reading and writing.

We keep each week filled with community activities to reinforce life skills. We take field trips to parks, the farmer’s market, cafe’s, the zoo, the library and more. We also take field trips for life skills to stores to shop for ingredients then follow recipes to make or bake delicious healthy food in our William Sonoma Teaching Kitchen.
